We are pleased to invite you to participate in an exciting Virtual Hiring Event. Designed to connect job seekers with employers who are urgently hiring for positions listed on WorkInTexas.com (WIT).
How Does It Work?
Just like a live hiring event, we are working with a number of employers who are urgently hiring for open positions which are on the WorkInTexas.com system. During the event, if you have a WorkInTexas.com (WIT) account, you will be able to login and see the jobs on offer by each participating Employer. Employers will be companies who are serviced by our Granbury, Stephenville, and Weatherford Workforce Solution Centers, so you will be able to apply to jobs across a large area. The process is simple:
- Prepare:
- Register on WorkInTexas.com - if you have not already. Go to https://www.workintexas.com/ and select the Sign In/ Register button:
- COMPLETE YOUR INFORMATION FULLY. Don’t leave gaps - it can impact your ability to apply to and be referred to jobs.
- Make sure you upload your most accurate, impressive, and up to date resume.
- On the day:
- Log Into the Virtual Hiring Event (See Red Link Below)
- Browse all the companies and jobs
- Apply DIRECTLY to the jobs using WIT.
- Note all your applications on the job search log.
- Results: As usual, companies will contact you if they want to take your application further.
- Important:
- There will be no live participation by employers (that’s part of what makes it “virtual”!)
- You can log into WIT and participate in whichever way you do it normally - at home on your PC/Tablets/Phone or on a public PC at the Workforce Center in Granbury, Stephenville, or Weatherford.

Learn how to set Job Alerts in WorkInTexas to enable it to automatically search for jobs based on set criteria 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
