Parking: The MWU must be parked on a level surface with adequate room around the vehicle. This equates to approximately seven (7) parking spots. Parking area should provide safe entry and exit from the passenger-side of the vehicle, with a minimum of 8-feet from curb or other obstacle for use of the chairlift. We require the parking area to be coned off or blocked off to adequately communicate to our driver where the MWU is to be parked. Can you accommodate these requirements?

Workforce Solutions for North Central Texas mission is to advance business-driven solutions that promote economic growth, opportunity, and a skilled workforce. Therefore, we will have a staff member present to assist for your event. In some cases, attendees may not qualify for positions that your organization has open, can’t work a particular shift, or have earning restrictions. Our attending staff will be able assist those career seekers, providing our workforce programs and ecosystem of support services, such as job searches, skill assessment, and work registration through our programs.

Public Facilities Plan: The Mobile Workforce Unit does not have a restroom onboard the unit. Therefore, the unit must be parked near a location with public facilities. If public restrooms are not available, the scheduling organization will be responsible for supplying portable facilities and will assume all costs associated with providing them. Will the mobile unit be parked near a location with public restrooms?

The Fine Print: This form submission does not guarantee your reservation for the MWU. Once your form has been reviewed and approved, you will receive an Outlook invite for the event and your event will be posted on our DFWJobs.com website. Since the information you have provided in this request form will be used to promote your event, it very important that it is complete and accurate. Our desire is to make your event a complete success! However due to events out of our control such as staffing, weather, mechanical situations etc., we reserve the right to cancel the MWU at anytime for your event.
